Meixi Helix

The Helix was created as a view platform for visitors to the Lake of Meixi (Meixihu) in Changsha, China. The lighting scheme at night acts as a ribbon extending into the water.

Due to this project's proximity and size, we could not scout prior to photography. However, we had access to the client's site plan and could study and preplan the possible point of view. By utilizing google map, sun calc, and some imagination, we produced a solid series of photos that we are proud of.
