Children's Village at Doylestown Health

client: DRG Architects

Doylestown, Pennsylvania

The purpose of the photos was to illustrate the resilience of a close-knit community of teachers and children as they embraced their 'new home' following a devastating tornado that destroyed their school. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured during the incident.

Capturing the spirit and playfulness of the spaces that constitute this 'village' posed a challenge on the ground. However, from a bird's-eye view of the site, the individual 'houses' are clearly visible, forming a cluster that embodies the essence of a village. This serves as a true testament to the aptly chosen name for this project.
