It was such honor to travel to the other side of the globe to capture Meixi Urban Helix on the Lake of Meixi (Meixihu) in Changsha, China. Congratulations to our client OVI on winning the AL Lighting Award 2018.
The pavilion was for an experimental study of using plastic bottles as shelter for disaster relief purposes. Custom 3D printed joints and cross bracing help securing the structure along the interlocking bottles that are joined together to “construct” the walls.
We had the opportunity to pitch in and help with CRÈME's effort to reconnect Long Island City, Queens, and Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The pedestrian bridge will save loads of the local community accessing across Newtown Creek, not to mention it will look fabulous at night with the New York City Skyline as the backdrop. L-INES helped with the background image for the bridge rendering and drone footages for the video pitch.
SKY is continuing its stride with luxury and art, as part of the featured in the recent New York Times' Real Estate - Design Notebook article. One of our favorite images was used in the piece - the dusk shot of the entrance with Yayoi Kusama's Pumpkin in the foreground.
It was a great idea to take automotive photography when Ines' was a student at Brooks Institute of Photography. That knowledge came in handy when she was tapped to photograph the luxurious modified Volvo XC90, which will chauffeured the penthouse residents.
